🧶 hello, world!

an introduction

As if I don’t already write enough for work, I’ve decided to write some more. 

Why? 

One: To process my readings. I read a lot – for work, for research, for fun – and it’s easier to find connections and patterns through note-taking and writing.

Two: To resume a writing practice. Like any kind of skill, it gets easier the more you do it.   

So, after five years of trying to plan a Proper Newsletter (and failing), I’ve decided to wing it.

In other words, I don’t know what my “niche” is or if I have any overarching strategy here. The plan is simply to share some of my latest obsessions and the goal is to publish weekly-ish. 

As a rough guide, topics will likely include marketing, media, monsters, magic, medicine (all M-words, what a coincidence).
